A Survey on Reconfigurable and Movable Antennas for Wireless Communications and Sensing
Wenyan Ma, Lipeng Zhu, Yanhua Tan +10
Reconfigurable antennas (RAs) and movable antennas (MAs) have been recognized as promising technologies to enhance the performance of wireless communication and sensing systems by…
Power-Measurement-Based Channel Estimation for Beyond Diagonal RIS
Yijie Liu, Weidong Mei, He Sun +2
Beyond diagonal reconfigurable intelligent surface (BD-RIS), with its enhanced degrees of freedom compared to conventional RIS, has demonstrated notable potential for enhancing wir…
Joint Antenna Positioning and Beamforming for Movable Antenna Array Aided Ground Station in Low-Earth Orbit Satellite Communication
Jinming Wang, Lipeng Zhu, Shuai Han +2
This paper proposes a new architecture for the low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite ground station aided by movable antenna (MA) array. Unlike conventional fixed-position antenna (FPA),…
Wideband Coverage Enhancement for IRS-Aided Wireless Networks Based on Power Measurement
Ge Yan, Lipeng Zhu, He Sun +1
By applying tunable phase shifts to incident waves via passive signal reflection, intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) can offer significant performance improvement for wireless co…
