Millimeter wave spectral line surveys and line mapping studies of NGC6334I and I(N)
S. Thorwirth, A. J. Walsh, F. Wyrowski +8
NGC6334I and I(N) have been observed with the Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope, SEST, at wavelengths of 3, 2, and 1.3 mm. Especially NGC6334 I shows rich emission from many diff…
The interaction of young massive stars with their environment: A millimeter and submillimeter line study of NGC6334 FIR II
J. S. Zhang, C. Henkel, R. Mauersberger +4
Using the 15-m Swedish ESO Sub-millimeter Telescope (SEST), CO, HCN, and HCO+ observations of the galactic star-forming region NGC6334 FIR II are presented, complemented by [C I] 3…
13CI in high-mass star-forming clouds
A. R. Tieftrunk, K. Jacobs, C. L. Martin +5
We report measurements of the 12C/13C abundance ratio in the three galactic regions G 333.0-0.4, NGC 6334 A and G 351.6-1.3 from observations of the 12CI 3P2-3P1 transition and the…
The Detection of Outflows in the IR-Quiet Molecular Core NGC 6334 I(North)
S. T. Megeath, A. R. Tieftrunk
We find strong evidence for outflows originating in the dense molecular core NGC 6334 I(North): a 1000 Msol molecular core distinguished by its lack of HII regions and mid-IR emiss…
