Canonical Realization of BMS Symmetry. Quadratic Casimir
Joaquim Gomis, Giorgio Longhi
We study the canonical realization of BMS symmetry for a massive scalar field introduced in reference \cite{LM}. We will construct an invariant scalar product for the generalized m…
Dynamics of Carroll Particles
Eric Bergshoeff, Joaquim Gomis, Giorgio Longhi
We investigate particles whose dynamics is invariant under the Carroll group. Although a single free such Carroll particle has no non-trivial dynamics (`the Carroll particle does n…
Dynamical sectors of a relativistic two particle model
Daniele Dominici, Joaquim Gomis, Kiyoshi Kamimura +1
We reconsider a model of two relativistic particles interacting via a multiplicative potential, as an example of a simple dynamical system with sectors, or branches, with different…
Exotic Non-relativistic String
Roberto Casalbuoni, Joaquim Gomis, Giorgio Longhi
We construct a classical non-relativistic string model in 3+1 dimensions. The model contains a spurion tensor field that is responsible for the non-commutative structure of the mod…
A canonical realization of the BMS algebra
G. Longhi, M. Materassi
A canonical realization of the BMS (Bondi-Metzner-Sachs) algebra is given on the phase space of the classical real Klein-Gordon field . By assuming the finiteness of the generators…
