How Dust Models Shape High-z Galaxy Morphology: Insights from the NewCluster Simulation
Gyeong-Hwan Byun, J. K. Jang, Zachary P. Scofield +10
Dust plays a pivotal role in shaping the observed morphology of galaxies. While traditional cosmological simulations often assume a fixed dust-to-gas (DTG) or dust-to-metal (DTM) m…
PSZ2 G181.06+48.47 III: weak-lensing analysis and merging scenario reconstruction of a low-mass cluster with exceptionally-distant radio relics
Eunmo Ahn, Hyejeon Cho, M. James Jee +7
The galaxy cluster PSZ2 G181.06+48.47 () is a post-merging system that exhibits symmetric double radio relics separated by ~2.7 Mpc. We present the first weak-lensing anal…
PSZ2 G181.06+48.47 II: radio analysis of a low-mass cluster with exceptionally-distant radio relics
Kamlesh Rajpurohit, Andra Stroe, Ewan O'Sullivan +13
We report upgraded Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope and Karl J. Jansky Very Large Array radio observations of a low-mass merging galaxy cluster PSZ2 G181.06+48.47. This exceptional…
PSZ2 G181.06+48.47 I: X-ray exploration of a low-mass cluster with exceptionally-distant radio relics
Andra Stroe, Kamlesh Rajpurohit, Zhenlin Zhu +13
Relics are diffuse, highly-polarized radio sources that trace merger-driven shocks at the periphery of merging galaxy clusters. The LOFAR survey recently discovered a rare example…
