Some spectral properties of the quasar ultraviolet bump
O. Torbaniuk, G. Ivashchenko, O. Sergijenko
In the present work the part of the quasar UV-optical bump within the wavelength range 1210-1450Å was studied with the help of composite spectra compiled from the samples of SDSS D…
Composite spectra of quasars with different UV spectral index
G. Ivashchenko, O. Sergijenko, O. Torbaniuk
The composite spectra of quasars are widely used as templates for redshift determination, as well as for measurements of the mean transmission in Lyα-forest studies, and for invest…
Angular and spatial clustering of photometrically classified quasar candidates from SDSS NBCKDE
G. Ivashchenko, O. Vasylenko, A. V. Tugay
The present paper analyses the quasar clustering using the two-point correlation function (2pCF) and the largest existing sample of photometrically selected quasars: the SDSS NBCKD…
Correlation function of quasars in real and redshift space from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 7
G. Ivashchenko, V. I. Zhdanov, A. V. Tugay
We analyze the quasar two-point correlation function (2pCF) within the redshift interval using a sample of 52303 quasars selected from the recent 7th Data Release of th…
