General Form of Magnetization Damping: Magnetization dynamics of a spin system evolving nonadiabatically and out of equilibrium
F. M. Saradzhev, F. C. Khanna, Sang Pyo Kim +1
Using an effective Hamiltonian including the Zeeman and internal interactions, we describe the quantum theory of magnetization dynamics when the spin system evolves non-adiabatical…
On some applications of Galilean electrodynamics of moving bodies
Marc De Montigny, Germain Rousseaux
We discuss the seminal article in which Le Bellac and Lévy-Leblond have identified two Galilean limits of electromagnetism [1], and its modern implications. Recent works have shed…
On Deformations and Contractions of Lie Algebras
Alice Fialowski, Marc de Montigny
In this contributed presentation, we discuss and compare the mutually opposite procedures of deformations and contractions of Lie algebras. We suggest that with appropriate combina…
Galilei invariant theories. I. Constructions of indecomposable finite-dimensional representations of the homogeneous Galilei group: directly and via contractions
M. de Montigny, J. Niederle, A. G. Nikitin
All indecomposable finite-dimensional representations of the homogeneous Galilei group which when restricted to the rotation subgroup are decomposed to spin 0, 1/2 and 1 representa…
