Simultaneous Multiwavelength observation of Mkn 501 in a low state in 2006
The MAGIC Collaboration, H. Anderhub, R. Sato +4
We present results of the multiwavelength campaign on the TeV blazar Mkn 501 performed in 2006 July, including MAGIC for the VHE gamma-ray band and Suzaku for the X-ray band. A VHE…
Simultaneous Multiwavelength Observations of Markarian 421 During Outburst
The VERITAS Collaboration, I. de la Calle Perez, A. Ibarra +2
We report on the results of two coordinated multiwavelength campaigns that focused on the blazar Markarian 421 during its 2006 and 2008 outbursts. These campaigns obtained UV and X…
Observation of selected SNRs with the MAGIC Cherenkov Telescope
E. Carmona, M. T. Costado, L. Font +1
Supernova Remnants (SNRs) are believed to be the acceleration sites of galactic cosmic rays. As such they are expected to produce Very High Energy (VHE) gamma-rays through hadronic…
The June 2008 flare of Markarian 421 from optical to TeV energies
R. M. Wagner, I. Donnarumma, J. Grube +6
We present optical to very-high energy (VHE) gamma-ray observations of Mrk 421 between 2008 May 24 and June 23. A high-energy (HE) gamma-ray signal was detected by AGILE-GRID durin…
