Deep inelastic scattering from gauge string duality in D3-D7 brane model
C. A. Ballon Bayona, Henrique Boschi-Filho, Nelson R. F. Braga
We calculate deep inelastic structure functions for mesons in the D3-D7 brane model, that incorporates flavour to the AdS/CFT correspondence. We consider two different prescription…
Deep inelastic structure functions from supergravity at small x
C. A. Ballon Bayona, Henrique Boschi-Filho, Nelson R. F. Braga
Deep inelastic structure functions can be calculated from supergravity when the Bjorken parameter satisfies . We consider a gauge theory with very large 't H…
Deep inelastic scattering from gauge string duality in the soft wall model
C. A. Ballon Bayona, Henrique Boschi-Filho, Nelson R. F. Braga
Deep inelastic structure functions have been calculated by Polchinski and Strassler in gauge/string duality introducing a hard infrared (IR) cut off in AdS space. Here we investiga…
On a Holographic Model for Confinement/Deconfinement
C. A. Ballon Bayona, Henrique Boschi-Filho, Nelson R. F. Braga +1
We study the thermodynamics of the hard wall model, which consists in the introduction of an infrared cut-off in asymptotically AdS spaces. This is a toy model for confining backgr…
