A Graph-Based Forensic Framework for Inferring Hardware Noise of Cloud Quantum Backend
Subrata Das, Archisman Ghosh, Swaroop Ghosh
Cloud quantum platforms give users access to many backends with different qubit technologies, coupling layouts, and noise levels. The execution of a circuit, however, depends on in…
Not All Qubits are Utilized Equally
Jeremie Pope, Swaroop Ghosh
Improvements to the functionality of modern Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) computers have coincided with an increase in the total number of physical qubits. Quantum progra…
Forensics of Error Rates of Quantum Hardware
Rupshali Roy, Swaroop Ghosh
There has been a rise in third-party cloud providers offering quantum hardware as a service to improve performance at lower cost. Although these providers provide flexibility to th…
Optimization of Quantum Error Correcting Code under Temporal Variation of Qubit Quality
Subrata Das, Swaroop Ghosh
Error rates in current noisy quantum hardware are not static; they vary over time and across qubits. This temporal and spatial variation challenges the effectiveness of fixed-dista…
Impact of Error Rate Misreporting on Resource Allocation in Multi-tenant Quantum Computing and Defense
Subrata Das, Swaroop Ghosh
Cloud-based quantum service providers allow multiple users to run programs on shared hardware concurrently to maximize resource utilization and minimize operational costs. This mul…
