Global trends in morphology from massive to dwarf galaxies
Ilin Lazar, Sugata Kaviraj, Christopher J. Conselice +7
The morphological properties of dwarf galaxies (Mstar < 10^9.5 MSun) remain largely unexplored, particularly outside the local neighbourhood. We explore how morphology changes acro…
Isophote shape analysis and the unfortunate subtlety of dwarf galaxy structure
A. E. Watkins, I. Lazar, T. Sedgwick +5
Dwarf galaxies (), being sensitive to key evolutionary drivers like baryonic feedback and tidal perturbation, are crucial for understanding galax…
AGN in massive galaxies identified via optical broadband variability: lessons from VST-COSMOS for future LSST science
B. Bichang'a, D. De Cicco, S. Kaviraj +4
We study the properties of 56 massive (M > 10 M) galaxies at that host AGN, detected via their broadband optical variability in the VST-COSMOS…
Multi-wavelength morphology and dust emission in low-redshift dwarf galaxies in COSMOS-Web with HST and JWST
D. Kakkad, I. Lazar, S. Harish +18
Low-mass or dwarf galaxies (M M) are abundant in the Universe, yet their formation and evolution remain poorly understood. Their enhanced sensitivity to fe…
