Kink collisions in a two-dimensional gravity model
Zhen-Tao He, Yuan Zhong
We numerically study kink-antikink collisions in the self-gravitating model coupled to the two-dimensional dilaton gravity theory proposed by Mann et al. The static kink solu…
Replica Phase Transition with Quantum Gravity Corrections
Jun Nian, Yuan Zhong
Motivated by bulk replica wormholes, we study the boundary effective theory that describes the near-horizon fluctuations of a near-extremal Reissner-Nordström black hole. This theo…
Shape-invariant Potentials and Singular Spaces
Peng Yu, Yuan Zhong, Ziqi Wang +2
In this work, we present two brane-world-type solutions in a two-dimensional (2D) dilaton gravity model with singular space-time backgrounds. By employing a first-order superpotent…
Rosen-Morse potential and gravitating kinks
Hui Wang, Yuan Zhong, Ziqi Wang
We show that in a special type of two-dimensional dilaton-gravity-scalar model, where both the dilaton and the scalar matter fields have noncanonical kinetic terms, it is possible…
Gravitating kinks with asymptotically flat metrics
Ziqi Wang, Yuan Zhong, Hui Wang
In this work, we consider a two-dimensional (2D) dilaton gravity model where the dilaton kinetic term is modified by an additional derivative coupling term $α\mathcal…
