OmniPlantSeg: Species Agnostic 3D Point Cloud Organ Segmentation for High-Resolution Plant Phenotyping Across Modalities
Andreas Gilson, Lukas Meyer, Oliver Scholz +1
Accurate point cloud segmentation for plant organs is crucial for 3D plant phenotyping. Existing solutions are designed problem-specific with a focus on certain plant species or sp…
Towards Integrating Multi-Spectral Imaging with Gaussian Splatting
Josef Grün, Lukas Meyer, Maximilian Weiherer +3
We present a study of how to integrate color (RGB) and multi-spectral imagery (red, green, red-edge, and near-infrared) into the 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) framework, a state-of-…
FruitNeRF++: A Generalized Multi-Fruit Counting Method Utilizing Contrastive Learning and Neural Radiance Fields
Lukas Meyer, Andrei-Timotei Ardelean, Tim Weyrich +1
We introduce FruitNeRF++, a novel fruit-counting approach that combines contrastive learning with neural radiance fields to count fruits from unstructured input photographs of orch…
Cherry Yield Forecast: Harvest Prediction for Individual Sweet Cherry Trees
Andreas Gilson, Peter Pietrzyk, Chiara Paglia +6
This paper is part of a publication series from the For5G project that has the goal of creating digital twins of sweet cherry trees. At the beginning a brief overview of the reviou…
