Exactness and LLP Results via Operator System Methods
Kenneth R. Davidson, Vern I. Paulsen, Mizanur Rahaman
In this paper, we employ operator system techniques to investigate structural properties of C*-algebras. In particular, we provide more direct proofs of results concerning exactnes…
Large Perturbations of Nest Algebras
Kenneth R. Davidson
Let and be nests on separable Hilbert space. If the two nest algebras are distance less than 1 ($d(\mathcal{T}(\mathcal{M}),\mathcal{T}(\mathcal{N})) <…
Completely Bounded Norms of -positive Maps
Guillaume Aubrun, Kenneth R. Davidson, Alexander Müller-Hermes +2
Given an operator system , we define the parameters (resp. ) defined as the maximal value of the completely bounded norm of a unit…
Commutant Lifting for Commuting Row Contractions
Kenneth R. Davidson, Trieu Le
If is a row contraction with commuting entries, and the Arveson dilation is , then any operator comm…
Topological Stable Rank of Nest Algebras
Kenneth R. Davidson, You Qing Ji
We establish a general result about extending a right invertible row over a Banach algebra to an invertible matrix. This is applied to the computation of right topological stable r…
