Digital simulation of zero-temperature spontaneous symmetry breaking in a superconducting lattice processor
Chang-Kang Hu, Guixu Xie, Kasper Poulsen +11
Quantum simulators are ideal platforms to investigate quantum phenomena that are inaccessible through conventional means, such as the limited resources of classical computers to ad…
Calculating the energy profile of an enzymatic reaction on a quantum computer
Patrick Ettenhuber, Mads Bøttger Hansen, Irfansha Shaik +7
Quantum computing (QC) provides a promising avenue toward enabling quantum chemistry calculations, which are classically impossible due to a computational complexity that increases…
Stable collective charging of ultracold atoms quantum batteries
Abel Rojo-Francàs, Felipe Isaule, Alan C. Santos +2
We propose a novel quantum battery realized with a few interacting particles in a three-well system with different on-site energies, which could be realized with ultracold atom pla…
Vibrational ADAPT-VQE: Critical points leads to problematic convergence
Marco Majland, Patrick Ettenhuber, Nikolaj Thomas Zinner +1
Quantum chemistry is one of the most promising applications for which quantum computing is expected to have significant impact. Despite considerable research in the field of electr…
