Lattice Bose polarons at strong coupling and quantum criticality
Ragheed Alhyder, Victor E. Colussi, Matija Čufar +3
We develop a new theoretical framework for exploring a mobile impurity interacting strongly with a highly correlated bath of bosons in the quantum critical regime of a Mott insulat…
Programming an Optical Lattice Interferometer
Lennart Maximilian Seifert, Victor E. Colussi, Michael A. Perlin +2
Programming a quantum device describes the usage of quantum logic gates, agnostic of hardware specifics, to perform a sequence of operations with (typically) a computing or sensing…
Non-equilibrium dynamics and atom-pair coherence in strongly interacting Bose-Fermi mixtures
J. van de Kraats, D. J. M. Ahmed-Braun, V. E. Colussi +1
Theoretical treatments of non-equilibrium dynamics in strongly interacting Bose-Fermi mixtures are complicated by the inherent non-Gaussian nature of the vacuum two-body physics, i…
Robust Quantum Sensing with Multiparameter Decorrelation
Shah Saad Alam, Victor E. Colussi, John Drew Wilson +3
The performance of a quantum sensor is fundamentally limited by noise. This noise is particularly damaging when it becomes correlated with the readout of a target signal, caused by…
