Asynchronous Traffic Shaping and Redundancy: Avoiding Unbounded Latencies in In-Car Networks
Teresa Lübeck, Philipp Meyer, Timo Häckel +2
Time-Sensitive Networking enhances Ethernet-based In-Vehicle Networks (IVNs) with real-time capabilities. Different traffic shaping algorithms have been proposed for time-critical…
Negotiating strict latency limits for dynamic real-time services in vehicular time-sensitive networks
Timo Salomon, Lisa Maile, Philipp Meyer +2
Future vehicles are expected to dynamically deploy in-vehicle applications within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) while critical services continue to operate under hard real-…
Coordinating Cooperative Perception in Urban Air Mobility for Enhanced Environmental Awareness
Timo Häckel, Luca von Roenn, Nemo Juchmann +4
The trend for Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is growing with prospective air taxis, parcel deliverers, and medical and industrial services. Safe and efficient UAM operation relies on tim…
A Framework for the Systematic Assessment of Anomaly Detectors in Time-Sensitive Automotive Networks
Philipp Meyer, Timo Häckel, Teresa Lübeck +2
Connected cars are susceptible to cyberattacks. Security and safety of future vehicles highly depend on a holistic protection of automotive components, of which the time-sensitive…
