Near-Field Velocity Estimation and Doppler-Aware Localization in OFDM Massive MIMO
Qing Zhang, Dario Tagliaferri, Robbert Beerten +3
In Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)-based massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) near-field (NF) sensing, target motion induces an antenna-dependent bistati…
Weighted Sum Rate Maximization for ITS-Aided Arrays in Multi-User MIMO
Robbert Beerten, Wen Shang, Tugce Kobal
This work explores the potential of integrating an Intelligent Transmissive Surface (ITS) into an antenna array to improve beamforming performance. We show that integrating a moder…
Sequential Processing Strategies in Fronthaul Constrained Cell-Free Massive MIMO Networks
Vida Ranjbar, Robbert Beerten, Marc Moonen +1
In a cell-free massive MIMO (CFmMIMO) network with a daisy-chain fronthaul, the amount of information that each access point (AP) needs to communicate with the next AP in the chain…
Robust Localization in OFDM-Based Massive MIMO through Phase Offset Calibration
Qing Zhang, Adham Sakhnini, Robbert Beerten +4
Accurate localization in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)-based massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems depends critically on phase coherence across…
