Non-resonant Optical Injection Locking in Quantum Cascade Laser Frequency Combs
Alexandre Parriaux, Kenichi N. Komagata, Mathieu Bertrand +4
Optical injection locking of the repetition frequency of a quantum cascade laser frequency comb is demonstrated using an intensity modulated near-infrared light at 1.55 m illumi…
A Quantum Walk Comb Source at Telecommunication Wavelengths
Bahareh Marzban, Lucius Miller, Alexander Dikopoltsev +3
We demonstrate a quantum walk comb in synthetic frequency space formed by externally modulating a semiconductor optical amplifier operating in the telecommunication wavelength rang…
Shot-noise-limited emission from interband and quantum cascade lasers
Tecla Gabbrielli, Jacopo Pelini, Georg Marschick +12
The intensity noise of a laser source represents one of the key factors limiting the ultimate sensitivity in laser-based systems for sensing and telecommunication. For advanced app…
Quench dynamics of Wannier-Stark states in an active synthetic photonic lattice
Alexander Dikopoltsev, Ina Heckelmann, Mathieu Bertrand +4
Photonic emulators have facilitated the investigation of numerous solid-state phenomena and have contributed to the development of optical devices inspired by quantum mechanics. Al…
