Amplification of NOON States
G. S. Agarwal, S. Chaturvedi, Amit Rai
We examine the behavior of a Non Gaussian state like NOON state under phase insensitive amplification. We derive analytical result for the density matrix of the NOON state for arbi…
Non-Gaussian and Gaussian Entanglement in Coupled Leaky Waveguides
Amit Rai, Sumanta Das, G. S. Agarwal
We investigate the viability of coupled waveguides as basic units of quantum circuits. In particular, we study the dynamics of entanglement for the single photon state, and single…
Decoherence effects in interacting qubits under the influence of various environments
Sumanta Das, G S Agarwal
We study competition between the dissipative and coherent effects in the entanglement dynamics of two qubits. The coherent interactions are needed for designing logic gate operatio…
Bright and Dark periods in the Entanglement Dynamics of Interacting Qubits in Contact with the Environment
Sumanta Das, G. S. Agarwal
Interaction among the qubits are basis to many quantum logic operations. We report how such inter-qubit interactions can lead to new features, in the form of bright and dark period…
