Unified boson sampling
Luca Bianchi, Carlo Marconi, Laura Ares +2
Boson sampling is a key candidate for demonstrating quantum advantage, and has already yielded significant advances in quantum simulation, machine learning, and graph theory. In th…
Bell state measurements in quantum optics: a review of recent progress and open challenges
Luca Bianchi, Carlo Marconi, Davide Bacco
Bell state measurements, which project bipartite qubit systems onto the maximally entangled Bell basis, are central to a wide range of quantum information processing tasks, includi…
Free-space time-bin encoded quantum key distribution from near- to mid-infrared wavelengths
Claudia De Lazzari, Tecla Gabbrielli, Natalia Bruno +9
Quantum technologies play a central role in establishing new ways of quantum-secured communication. We investigate Free-Space Quantum Communication and explore the advantage of imp…
Time-bin encoding quantum key distribution in free-space horizontal links during nighttime and daytime
Sebastiano Cocchi, Domenico Ribezzo, Giulia Guarda +4
Free-space quantum key distribution (QKD) represents a groundbreaking advancement in secure communication, enabling secure key exchange over vast distances and offering robust encr…
