The chromospherically active binary star EI Eridani II. Long-term Doppler imaging
A. Washuettl, K. G. Strassmeier, M. Weber
Data from 11 years of continuous spectroscopic observations of the active RS CVn-type binary star EI Eridani - gained at NSO/McMath-Pierce, KPNO/Coude Feed and during the MUSICOS 9…
The chromospherically active binary star EI Eridani I. Absolute dimensions
A. Washuettl, K. G. Strassmeier, T. Granzer +2
We present a detailed determination of the astrophysical parameters of the chromospherically active binary star EI Eridani. Our new radial velocities allow to improve the set of or…
Surface velocity network with anti-solar differential rotation on the active K-giant Geminorum
Zs. Kõvári, J. Bartus, M. Švanda +4
We demonstrate the power of the local correlation tracking technique on stellar data for the first time. We recover the spot migration pattern of the long-period RS CVn-type binary…
Optical flares from the faint mid-dM star 2MASS J00453911+4140396
Zs. Kővári, F. Vilardell, I. Ribas +4
We present and light curves of a large stellar flare obtained with the Wide Field Camera at the Isaac Newton 2.5-m telescope (La Palma). The source object is a faint ($m_V=…
