Delayed Recombination and Standard Rulers
Francesco De Bernardis, Rachel Bean, Silvia Galli +3
Measurements of Baryonic Acoustic Oscillations in galaxy surveys have been recognized as a powerful tool for constraining dark energy. However, this method relies on the knowledge…
CMBPol Mission Concept Study: Probing Inflation with CMB Polarization
Daniel Baumann, Mark G. Jackson, Peter Adshead +56
We summarize the utility of precise cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarization measurements as probes of the physics of inflation. We focus on the prospects for using CMB measu…
An improved limit on the neutrino mass with CMB and redshift-dependent halo bias-mass relations from SDSS, DEEP2, and Lyman-Break Galaxies
Francesco De Bernardis, Paolo Serra, Asantha Cooray +1
We use measurements of luminosity-dependent galaxy bias at several different redshifts, SDSS at , DEEP2 at and LBGs at , combined with WMAP five-year cosmic mi…
Anisotropies in the Cosmic Neutrino Background after WMAP 5-year Data
Francesco De Bernardis, Luca Pagano, Paolo Serra +2
We search for the presence of cosmological neutrino background (CNB) anisotropies in recent WMAP 5-year data using their signature imprinted on modifications to cosmic microwave ba…
