On ideal minimally non-packing clutters
Kenji Kashiwabara, Tadashi Sakuma
We consider the following conjecture proposed by Cornuéjols, Guenin and Margot: every ideal minimally non-packing clutter has a transversal of size 2. For a clutter C, the tilde cl…
The Weak-Map Order and Polytopal Decompositions of Matroid Base Polytopes
Kenji Kashiwabara
The weak-map order on the matroid base polytopes is the partial order defined by inclusion. Lucas proved that the base polytope of no binary matroid includes the base polytope of a…
Obstructions to shellability, partitionability, and sequential Cohen-Macaulayness
Masahiro Hachimori, Kenji Kashiwabara
For a property of simplicial complexes, a simplicial complex is an obstruction to if itself does not satisfy but all of its proper restrictions s…
A characterization of the edge-shelling convex geometries of trees
Kenji Kashiwabara, Masataka Nakamura
We investigate the class of the edge-shelling convex geometries of trees. The edge-shelling convex geometry of a tree is the convex geometry consisting of the sets of edges of the…
Sports scheduling for not all pairs of teams
Kenji Kashiwabara
We consider the following sports scheduling problem. Consider teams in a sport league. Each pair of teams must play exactly one match in days. That is, games are he…
