Perfect Space Time Block Codes
F. Oggier, G. Rekaya-Ben Othman, J. -C. Belfiore +1
In this paper, we introduce the notion of perfect space-time block codes (STBC). These codes have full rate, full diversity, non-vanishing constant minimum determinant for increasi…
Golden Space-Time Trellis Coded Modulation
Yi Hong, Emanuele Viterbo, Jean-Claude Belfiore
In this paper, we present a concatenated coding scheme for a high rate multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system over slow fading channels. The inner code is the Gol…
Diversity-Multiplexing Tradeoff of Double Scattering MIMO Channels
Sheng Yang, Jean-Claude Belfiore
It is well known that the presence of double scattering degrades the performance of a MIMO channel, in terms of both the multiplexing gain and the diversity gain. In this paper, a…
Towards the Optimal Amplify-and-Forward Cooperative Diversity Scheme
Sheng Yang, Jean-Claude Belfiore
In a slow fading channel, how to find a cooperative diversity scheme that achieves the transmit diversity bound is still an open problem. In fact, all previously proposed amplify-a…
