Correlation between activity indicators: H and Ca II lines in M-dwarf stars
R. V. Ibañez Bustos, A. P. Buccino, M. Flores +2
Different approaches have been adopted to study short- and long-term stellar magnetic activity, and although the mechanisms by which low-mass stars generate large-scale magnetic fi…
The active RS CVn-type system SZ Pictoris
C. I. Martínez, J. F. González, A. Buccino +2
We study the short and long-term variability of the spectroscopic binary SZ Pictoris, a southern RS CVn-type system. We used mid-resolution echelle spectra obtained at CASLEO spann…
On the age of the magnetically active WW Psa and TX Psa members of the beta Pictoris association
S. Messina, R. Santallo, T. G. Tan +6
There are a variety of different techniques available to estimate the ages of pre-main-sequence stars. Components of physical pairs, thanks to their strict coevality and the mass d…
The beta Pictoris association: Catalog of photometric rotational periods of low-mass members and candidate members
S. Messina, M. Millward, A. Buccino +19
We intended to compile the most complete catalog of bona fide members and candidate members of the beta Pictoris association, and to measure their rotation periods and basic proper…
