Astrometric and Spectroscopic Analysis of IC 2714: An Open Cluster Hosting a Lithium-Rich Giant
T. Flaulhabe, N. Holanda, G. Tautvaišienė +7
Open clusters serve as laboratories to study and evaluate stellar evolution and Galactic chemical evolution models. Chemical peculiarities, such as lithium-rich giants, are rarely…
Consensus based Algorithm for Nonparametric Detection of Star Clusters (CANDiSC)
C O Obasi, J G Fernandez Trincado, M Gomez +14
Context: The VISTA Variables in the Via Lactea (VVV) and its extension (VVVX) are near-infrared surveys mapping the Galactic bulge and adjacent disk. These data have enabled the di…
The VISCACHA survey XIV. Chemical evolution history of the SMC: The Southern Bridge Clusters
Sasi Saroon, B. Dias, T. Tsujimotto +18
The chemical evolution history of the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) is complex and is best understood through a comprehensive analysis of star clusters across its various regions. T…
The VISCACHA Survey: XIII. The extended main-sequence turn-off in intermediate-age low-mass clusters
Stefano Souza, Angeles Pérez-Villegas, Bruno Dias +16
The extended main-sequence turn-off (eMSTO) is a well-known feature observed in young and intermediate-age star clusters, characterized by a significant broadening of the main-sequ…
