FINER: development of the wideband millimeter-wave receiver system and preparations for first light on the Large Millimeter Telescope
Akio Taniguchi, Yoichi Tamura, Takeshi Sakai +38
The recent discovery of an excess of luminous galaxies in the early Universe necessitates sensitive and wideband millimeter spectroscopy to understand their rapid growth. To addres…
The ALPINE-CRISTAL-JWST Survey: Chemical Abundance Comparison Between the ISM and CGM of Main-Sequence Galaxies at z=4-6
Wuji Wang, Andreas L. Faisst, Kyle Finner +37
Gaseous halos around galaxies play an important role in galaxy evolution. The exchange of metals from the interstellar medium (ISM) to the circumgalactic medium (CGM) are caused by…
Upper limit on HF(1-0) absorption in a dusty star-forming galaxy at : Constraints on early fluorine enrichment
Akiyoshi Tsujita, Chiaki Kobayashi, Yuki Yoshimura +10
Wolf-Rayet (WR) stars have recently attracted attention as possible drivers of early chemical enrichment, including the production of fluorine, whose nucleosynthetic origin remains…
A spectroscopically confirmed, strongly lensed, metal-poor Type II supernova at z = 5.13
David A. Coulter, Conor Larison, Justin D. R. Pierel +88
Observing supernovae (SNe) in the early Universe (z > 3) provides a window into how both galaxies and individual stars have evolved over cosmic time, yet a detailed study of high-r…
