Development of nanocomposite scintillators for use in high-energy physics
A. Antonelli, E. Auffray, S. Brovelli +33
Semiconductor nanocrystals (quantum dots) are light emitters with high quantum yield that are relatively easy to manufacture. There is therefore much interest in their possible app…
Enhancing the light yield of He:CF based gaseous detector
F. D. Amaro, R. Antonietti, E. Baracchini +51
The CYGNO experiment aims to build a large ( m) directional detector for rare event searches, such as nuclear recoils (NRs) induced by dark matter (DM), such a…
Charge Amplification in Low Pressure CF4:SF6:He Mixtures with a Multi-Mesh ThGEM for Directional Dark Matter Searches
F. D. Amaro, E. Baracchini, L. Benussi +46
The CYGNO collaboration is developing next generation directional Dark Matter (DM) detection experiments, using gaseous Time Projection Chambers (TPCs), as a robust method for iden…
Status of the production of GEM chambers for the CMS experiment at Large Hadron Collider
L. Benussi, S. Bianco, R. Campagnola +10
The High Luminosity LHC phase includes an upgrade to the muon stations for the CMS Experiment. CMS trigger and muon identification performance will be crucial, and it is, therefore…
