Closing the Observational Gap in Cosmic Dynamics: AI-Enabled Reconstruction of the Universe's Vorticity and Rotational Flow Morphology
Ziyong Wu, Xu Xiao, Fuyu Dong +7
The cosmic vorticity field, an essential tracer of nonlinear structure formation, has remained observationally inaccessible because transverse galaxy motions are difficult to measu…
Into the Gompverse: A robust Gompertzian reionization model for CMB analyses
Paulo Montero-Camacho, Yin Li, Marco Barquero-Hernández +3
Cosmic reionization is driven by the formation of sources of ultraviolet photons, and hence it is an intrinsically asymmetric process, where its earlier stages occur at a slower pa…
AI-assisted reconstruction of cosmic velocity field from redshift-space spatial distribution of halos
Ziyong Wu, Liang Xiao, Xu Xiao +6
The peculiar velocities of dark matter halos are crucial to study many issues in cosmology and galaxy evolution. In this study, by using the state-of-the-art deep learning techniqu…
Sensitivity tests of cosmic velocity fields to massive neutrinos
Shuren Zhou, Zhenjie Liu, Qinglin Ma +8
We investigate impacts of massive neutrinos on the cosmic velocity fields, employing high-resolution cosmological -body simulations provided by the information-optimized CUBE co…
