Evidence of Spin-Interference Effects in Exclusive Photoproduction in Ultraperipheral Heavy-Ion Collisions
The STAR Collaboration
We report the first evidence of spin interference in exclusive photoproduction in ultraperipheral heavy-ion collisions at STAR at ~GeV. In Au+A…
Measurement of transverse polarization of and hyperons inside jets in collisions at GeV
STAR Collaboration, B. E. Aboona, J. Adam +363
A surprisingly large transverse polarization of hyperons in unpolarized hadron-nucleon/nucleus collisions has been observed for 50 years, and the origin of this polarization re…
Energy Independence of the Collins Asymmetry in Collisions
STAR Collaboration, B. E. Aboona, J. Adam +367
The STAR experiment reports new, high-precision measurements of the transverse single-spin asymmetries for within jets, namely the Collins asymmetries, from transversely…
Measuring spin correlation between quarks during QCD confinement
The STAR Collaboration
The vacuum is now understood to possess a rich and complex structure, characterized by fluctuating energy fields and a condensate of virtual quark-antiquark pairs. The spontaneous…
