Design, simulation and performance of the resistive-anode PICOSEC Micromegas detector
Djunes Janssens, Antonija Utrobicic, Marinko Kovacic +52
The PICOSEC Micromegas detector is a Micro-Pattern Gaseous Detector concept developed to achieve tens of picosecond timing resolution for charged particle detection by combining a…
Performance Optimization and Characterization of 7-pad Resistive PICOSEC Micromegas Detectors
A. Kallitsopoulou, R. Aleksan, S. Aune +49
We present a comprehensive characterization of resistive PICOSEC Micromegas detector prototypes, tested under identical conditions, constant drift gap, field configurations, and ph…
Measurements of enriched 155 Gd and 157Gd converters with the NMX detector on the nTOF EAR2 beam line at CERN
D. Pfeiffer, F. M. Brunbauer, I. R. Fehse +15
The detectors for the NMX instrument at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund use natural Gd as the neutron converter. In 2024, beam time was obtained at the neutron time-of…
PICOSEC Micromegas Precise-timing Detectors: Development towards Large-Area and Integration
Y. Meng, R. Aleksan, Y. Angelis +49
PICOSEC Micromegas (MM) is a precise timing gaseous detector based on a Cherenkov radiator coupled with a semi-transparent photocathode and an MM amplifying structure. The detector…
