The Feasibility of Using Fe XXIII Metastable Transitions as a Density Diagnostic for LMXB Disk Winds
D. L. Moutard, L. R. Corrales, R. Tomaru +6
Low mass X-ray binaries (LMXBs) occasionally show signs of outflowing material from the accretion disk. Studying these outflows can inform the understanding of the geometry of the…
The Structure of the Relativistic Fe Line in GX 340+0 as Viewed with XRISM/Resolve, NICER, and NuSTAR
R. M. Ludlam, R. Ballhausen, P. Chakraborty +13
We present a 152 ks XRISM/Resolve observation of the persistently accreting Z source GX 340+0. Simultaneous observations also occurred with NuSTAR and NICER for 22.47 ks and 2.7 ks…
XRISM insights for interstellar Sulfur
Lia Corrales, Elisa Costantini, Sascha Zeegers +15
The X-ray Imaging Spectroscopy Mission (XRISM) provides the best spectral resolution with which to study Sulfur (S) K-shell photoabsorption features from the interstellar medium (I…
The Rizzeta Stone: Adopting Gen- Colloquial Language to Improve Scientific Paper Rizz and Aura from a Skibidi Perspective
Anne E Blackwell, David L Moutard, Jake A Miller
The field of astronomy evolves rapidly, and it is essential to keep up with these changes in order to effectively communicate with the broader community. However, communication its…
