Advancing Gamma-Ray Burst Identification through Transfer Learning with Convolutional Neural Networks
Peng Zhang, Bing Li, Ren-zhou Gui +9
The Rapid and accurate identification of Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) is crucial for unraveling their origins. However, current burst search algorithms frequently miss low-threshold sig…
A new subclass of gamma-ray burst originating from compact binary merger
Chen-Wei Wang, Wen-Jun Tan, Shao-Lin Xiong +15
Type I gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are believed to originate from compact binary merger usually with duration less than 2 seconds for the main emission. However, recent observations of…
Relation between the keV-MeV and TeV emission of GRB 221009A and its implications
Yan-Qiu Zhang, Hao-Xiang Lin, Shao-Lin Xiong +13
Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are believed to launch relativistic jets, which generate prompt emission by internal processes, and produce long-lasting afterglows by driving external shoc…
Observation of spectral lines in the exceptional GRB 221009A
Yan-Qiu Zhang, Shao-Lin Xiong, Ji-Rong Mao +21
As the brightest gamma-ray burst ever observed, GRB 221009A provided a precious opportunity to explore spectral line features. In this paper, we performed a comprehensive spectrosc…
