Compositionality in quantum reference frame perspectives
Bruna Sahdo, Esteban Castro-Ruiz
Understanding a composite system through its constituents is a fundamental practice in physics. In the context of quantum reference frames (QRFs), however, combining the usual quan…
Exploring the nature of gravity with quantum information methods
Bruna Sahdo, Natália Salomé Móller
The aim of this article is to provide an introduction to the use of quantum information methods for investigating the interface between quantum theory and gravity. To this end, we…
Indefinite order in the interface of quantum mechanics and gravity
Bruna Sahdo
Researchers have long been aiming to understand how the characteristics of Quantum Theory and General Relativity combine to account for regimes in their interface. One reason why t…
Gravitational quantum switch on a superposition of spherical shells
Natália S. Móller, Bruna Sahdo, Nelson Yokomizo
In the absence of a complete theory of quantum gravity, phenomenological models built upon minimal assumptions have been explored for the analysis of possible quantum effects in gr…
Quantum switch in the gravity of Earth
Natália S. Móller, Bruna Sahdo, Nelson Yokomizo
We introduce a protocol for a quantum switch in the gravitational field of a spherical mass and determine the time interval required for its realization in the gravity of Earth. On…
