Discovery of a Debris Disk Around TWA 20
Skyler Palatnick, Maxwell A. Millar-Blanchaer, Jingwen Zhang +20
We report the discovery of a debris disk surrounding the M3 star, TWA 20, revealed by JWST coronagraphic observations using the Near-infrared Camera (NIRCam). With reference-star d…
Follow-Up Exploration of the TWA 7 Planet-Disk System with JWST NIRCam
Katie A. Crotts, Aarynn L. Carter, Kellen Lawson +39
The young M-star TWA 7 hosts a bright and near face-on debris disk, which has been imaged from the optical to the submillimeter. The disk displays multiple complex substructures su…
The Disks In Scorpius-Centaurus Survey (DISCS) I: Four Newly-Resolved Debris Disks in Polarized Intensity Light
Justin Hom, Thomas M. Esposito, Katie A. Crotts +8
The presence of infrared excesses around stars directly correlates to spatially-resolved imaging detections of circumstellar disks at both mm and optical/near-infrared wavelengths.…
Evidence for a sub-jovian planet in the young TWA7 disk
A. -M. Lagrange, C. Wilkinson, M. Mâlin +26
Planets are thought to form from dust and gas in protoplanetary disks, and debris disks are the remnants of planet formation. Aged a few Myr up to a few Gyr, debris disks have lost…
