Event-triggered boundary control of 2x2 semilinear hyperbolic systems
Timm Strecker, Michael Cantoni, Ole Morten Aamo
We present an event-triggered boundary control scheme for hyperbolic systems. The trigger condition is based on predictions of the state on determinate sets, where the control inpu…
Boundary Control and Estimation for Under-Balanced Drilling with Uncertain Reservoir Parameters
Timm Strecker, Ulf Jakob F. Aarsnes
In under-balanced drilling, the bottom-hole pressure is kept below pore pressure, causing pressure dependent influx of reservoir gas into the wellbore that makes the system unstabl…
Predictive feedback boundary control of semilinear and quasilinear 2x2 hyperbolic PDE-ODE systems
Timm Strecker, Ole Morten Aamo, Michael Cantoni
We present a control design for semilinear and quasilinear 2x2 hyperbolic partial differential equations with the control input at one boundary and a nonlinear ordinary differentia…
Boundary Feedback Control of 2x2 Quasilinear Hyperbolic Systems: Predictive Synthesis and Robustness Analysis
Timm Strecker, Ole Morten Aamo, Michael Cantoni
We present a predictive feedback control method for a class of quasilinear hyperbolic systems with one boundary control input. Assuming exact model knowledge, convergence to the or…
