Compact radio galaxies: the case of FR0s
R. D. Baldi, A. Capetti, G. Giovannini +20
Fanaroff-Riley type 0 (FR0) radio galaxies, a newly-identified and abundant population of low-power radio-loud active galactic nuclei, present a significant challenge to our unders…
The LOFAR Two-metre Sky Survey: VII. Third Data Release
T. W. Shimwell, M. J. Hardcastle, C. Tasse +99
We present the third data release of the LOFAR Two-metre Sky Survey (LoTSS-DR3). The survey images cover 88% of the northern sky and were created from 12,950 hrs of data (18.6 PB)…
The nature of HERGs and LERGs in LoTSS DR2 a morphological perspective
J. Chilufya, M. J. Hardcastle, J. C. S. Pierce +4
We present the largest visually selected sample of extended (60 arcsec) radio-loud active galactic nuclei (RLAGN) to date, based on the LOw-Frequency Array Two-Metre Sky Survey…
The nature of compact radio-loud AGN: a systematic look at the LOFAR AGN population
J. Chilufya, M. J. Hardcastle, J. C. S. Pierce +5
We investigate the nature of low-luminosity radio-loud active galactic nuclei (RLAGN) selected from the LOFAR Two-metre Sky Survey (LoTSS) first data release (DR1). Using optical,…
