Gamma-ray and Optical Observations of Repeating Fast Radio Bursts with VERITAS
Matthew Lundy
Fast radio burst (FRBs) are an exciting class of bright, extragalactic, millisecond radio transients. The recent development of large field-of-view (FOV) radio telescopes has cause…
TeV and optical observations of the Be/pulsar binary 1A0535+262 during the 2020 giant outburst
Matthew Lundy
1A 0535+262 is a Be X-ray binary pulsar and one of the only galactic pulsar systems to show radio jet emission. Characterizing the very high energy emission (VHE, >100 GeV) in thes…
An Archival Search for Very-High-Energy Counterparts to Sub-Threshold Neutron-Star Merger Candidates
Colin Adams, Imre Bartos, K. Rainer Corley +3
The recent discovery of electromagnetic signals in coincidence with gravitational waves from neutron-star mergers has solidified the importance of multimessenger campaigns for stud…
A Search for TeV Gamma-ray Emission from Pulsar Tails by VERITAS
Wystan Benbow, A. Brill, James Buckley +56
We report on the search for very-high-energy gamma-ray emission from the regions around three nearby supersonic pulsars (PSR B0355+54, PSR J0357+3205 and PSR J1740+1000) that exhib…
