Are Kronberger 80 and/or Kronberger 82 regions PeVatron candidates for LHAASO J2108+5157?
Akash Gupta, Eduardo De La Fuente, Ram K. Yadav +13
High-energy gamma rays have been detected in the region of LHAASO~J2108+5157 by the Fermi--LAT, HAWC and LHAASO-KM2A observatories. Cygnus~OB2 in Cygnus--X has been confirmed as th…
A new air shower array in the Southern Hemisphere looking for the origins of Cosmic rays: the ALPACA experiment
M. Anzorena, E. de la Fuente, K. Fujita +53
The Tibet AS experiment successfully detected sub-PeV -rays from the Crab nebula using a Surface Array and underground muon detector. Considering this, we are building in Bol…
Detection of a new molecular cloud in the LHAASO J2108+5157 region supporting a hadronic PeVatron scenario
Eduardo de la Fuente, Iván Toledano-Juárez, Kazumasa Kawata +10
PeVatrons are the most powerful naturally occurring particle accelerators in the Universe. The identification of counterparts associated to astrophysical objects such as dying mass…
Detectability of southern gamma-ray sources beyond 100 TeV with ALPAQUITA, the prototype experiment of ALPACA
S. Kato, C. A. H. Condori, E. dela Fuente +47
Andes Large-area PArticle detector for Cosmic-ray physics and Astronomy (ALPACA) is an international experiment that applies southern very-high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray astronomy to…
