A dynamical survey of the trans-Neptunian region I.: Mean-motion resonances with Neptune
E. Forgács-Dajka, E. Kővári, T. Kovács +2
In this paper, we present a large-scale dynamical survey of the trans-Neptunian region, with particular attention to mean-motion resonances (MMRs). We study a set of 4121 trans-Nep…
Tidally locked rotation of the dwarf planet (136199) Eris discovered from long-term ground based and space photometry
R. Szakáts, Cs. Kiss, J. L. Ortiz +9
The rotational states of the members in the dwarf planet - satellite systems in the transneptunian region are determined by the formation conditions and the tidal interaction betwe…
Stability analysis of planetary systems via second-order Rényi entropy
Tamás Kovács, Máté Pszota, Emese Kővári +2
The long-term dynamical evolution is a crucial point in recent planetary research. Although the amount of observational data is continuously growing and the precision allows us to…
A survey on Hungaria asteroids involved in mean motion resonances with Mars
E. Forgács-Dajka, Zs. Sándor, J. Sztakovics
Context. A region at the inner edge of the main asteroid belt is populated by the Hungaria asteroids. Among these objects, the Hungaria family is formed as the result of a catastro…
