An Overview of Cellular ISAC for Low-Altitude UAV: New Opportunities and Challenges
Yuxuan Song, Yong Zeng, Yuhang Yang +6
Low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are expected to play an important role in future wireless networks, either as aerial base stations (BSs) or aerial users connected to t…
An Overview on IRS-Enabled Sensing and Communications for 6G: Architectures, Fundamental Limits, and Joint Beamforming Designs
Xianxin Song, Yuan Fang, Feng Wang +8
This paper presents an overview on intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-enabled sensing and communication for the forthcoming sixth-generation (6G) wireless networks, in which IRSs…
Exploiting Moving Arrays for Near-Field Sensing
Yilong Chen, Zixiang Ren, Xianghao Yu +2
This letter exploits moving arrays to enable nearfield multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) sensing via a limited number of antenna elements. We consider a scenario where a base s…
Sensing-assisted Near-field Energy Beam Focusing with ELAA Over Non-stationary Channels
Li Zhang, Zixiang Ren, Yuan Fang +2
This paper studies a novel training-free energy beam focusing approach for a near-field wireless power transfer (WPT) system with extremely large-scale antenna array (ELAA). In par…
Integrated Sensing, Communication, and Powering over Multi-antenna OFDM Systems
Yilong Chen, Chao Hu, Zixiang Ren +5
This paper considers a multi-functional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with integrated sensing, communication, and powering (ISCAP), in which a multi-ante…
Secure Communications in Near-Filed ISCAP Systems with Extremely Large-Scale Antenna Arrays
Zixiang Ren, Siyao Zhang, Xinmin Li +3
This paper investigates secure communications in a near-field multi-functional integrated sensing, communication, and powering (ISCAP) system with an extremely large-scale antenna…
Integrated Sensing, Communication, and Powering (ISCAP): Towards Multi-functional 6G Wireless Networks
Yilong Chen, Zixiang Ren, Jie Xu +3
This article presents a novel multi-functional system for a sixth-generation (6G) wireless network with integrated sensing, communication, and powering (ISCAP), which unifies integ…
