ViTGuard: Attention-aware Detection against Adversarial Examples for Vision Transformer
Shihua Sun, Kenechukwu Nwodo, Shridatt Sugrim +2
The use of transformers for vision tasks has challenged the traditional dominant role of convolutional neural networks (CNN) in computer vision (CV). For image classification tasks…
FedMADE: Robust Federated Learning for Intrusion Detection in IoT Networks Using a Dynamic Aggregation Method
Shihua Sun, Pragya Sharma, Kenechukwu Nwodo +2
The rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices across multiple sectors has escalated serious network security concerns. This has prompted ongoing research in Machine L…
Partner in Crime: Boosting Targeted Poisoning Attacks against Federated Learning
Shihua Sun, Shridatt Sugrim, Angelos Stavrou +1
Federated Learning (FL) exposes vulnerabilities to targeted poisoning attacks that aim to cause misclassification specifically from the source class to the target class. However, u…
5G-WAVE: A Core Network Framework with Decentralized Authorization for Network Slices
Pragya Sharma, Tolga Atalay, Hans-Andrew Gibbs +3
5G mobile networks leverage Network Function Virtualization (NFV) to offer services in the form of network slices. Each network slice is a logically isolated fragment constructed b…
