HD 202772A B: A Transiting Hot Jupiter Around A Bright, Mildly Evolved Star In A Visual Binary Discovered By Tess
Songhu Wang, Matias Jones, Avi Shporer +52
We report the first confirmation of a hot Jupiter discovered by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission: HD 202772A b. The transit signal was detected in the data…
TESS Discovery of an ultra-short-period planet around the nearby M dwarf LHS 3844
Roland Vanderspek, Chelsea X. Huang, Andrew Vanderburg +45
Data from the newly-commissioned \textit{Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite} (TESS) has revealed a "hot Earth" around LHS 3844, an M dwarf located 15 pc away. The planet has a r…
TESS Discovery of a Transiting Super-Earth in the Mensae System
Chelsea X. Huang, Jennifer Burt, Andrew Vanderburg +45
We report the detection of a transiting planet around Mensae (HD 39091), using data from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). The solar-type host star is unusually…
Multiple Stellar Fly-Bys Sculpting the Circumstellar Architecture in RW Aurigae
Joseph E. Rodriguez, Ryan Loomis, Sylvie Cabrit +9
We present high-resolution ALMA Band 6 and 7 observations of the tidally disrupted protoplanetary disks of the RW Aurigae binary. Our observations reveal the presence of additional…
