HERO (High Energy Ray Observatory) optimization and current status
Alexander Kurganov, Dmitry Karmanov, Alexander Panov +3
The High-Energy Ray Observatory (HERO) is a space experiment based on a heavy ionization calorimeter for direct study of cosmic rays. The effective geometrical factor of the appara…
Fluxes and spectral indices of rare and abundant cosmic ray nuclei according to the NUCLEON space experiment
I. A. Kudryashov, A. N. Turundaevskiy, D. E. Karmanov +4
In this paper the dependence of the spectra of cosmic ray nuclei on the charges of nuclei was studied, according to the data of the NUCLEON space experiment. First, we studied the…
A new universal cosmic-ray knee near the magnetic rigidity 10 TV with the NUCLEON space observatory
E. Atkin, V. Bulatov, V. Dorokhov +18
Data from the NUCLEON space observatory give a strong indication of the existence of a new universal cosmic ray "knee", which is observed in all groups of nuclei, including heavy n…
First results of the cosmic ray NUCLEON experiment
E. Atkin, V. Bulatov, V. Dorokhov +19
The NUCLEON experiment was designed to study the chemical composition and energy spectra of galactic cosmic ray nuclei from protons to zinc at energies of --\…
