Modeling phonon-mediated quasiparticle poisoning in superconducting qubit arrays
Eric Yelton, Clayton P. Larson, Vito Iaia +8
Correlated errors caused by ionizing radiation impacting superconducting qubit chips are problematic for quantum error correction. Such impacts generate quasiparticle (QP) excitati…
Hardware implementation of quantum stabilizers in superconducting circuits
K. Dodge, Y. Liu, A. R. Klots +7
Stabilizer operations are at the heart of quantum error correction and are typically implemented in software-controlled entangling gates and measurements of groups of qubits. Alter…
Single Flux Quantum-Based Digital Control of Superconducting Qubits in a Multi-Chip Module
Chuan-Hong Liu, Andrew Ballard, David Olaya +15
The single flux quantum (SFQ) digital superconducting logic family has been proposed for the scalable control of next-generation superconducting qubit arrays. In the initial implem…
Digital coherent control of a superconducting qubit
Edward Leonard, Matthew A. Beck, JJ Nelson +15
High-fidelity gate operations are essential to the realization of a fault-tolerant quantum computer. In addition, the physical resources required to implement gates must scale effi…
