On J-torsionless modules
Dimpy Mala Dutta, A. M. Buhphang, M. B. Rege
In this paper, we introduce the concept of JReject of a class of modules as a generalization of the notion of reject of a class of modules. We also introduce the notion of J-torsio…
Nil-Essential Ideals
Raplang Nongsiej, Ardeline Mary Buhphang
The class of nil-essential ideals is a generalisation of the class of essential ideals. Every nil-essential ideal of a reduced ring is essential. Therefore the intersection of all…
A note on injectivity of monomial algebras
Ardeline M. Buhphang, Rishabh Goswami, Amit Kuber
We show that a monomial algebra over an algebraically closed field is self-injective if and only if each map can be extended to an endomorphism…
Pointwise Semicommutative Rings
Sanjiv Subba, Tikaram Subedi, A. M. Buhphang
We call a ring R pointwise semicommutative if for any element a in R either l(a) or r(a) is an ideal of R. A class of pointwise semicommutative rings is a strict generalization of…
Principally-injective Leavitt path algebras over arbitrary graphs
Soumitra Das, Ardeline M. Buhphang
A ring R is called right principally-injective if every R-homomorphism from a principal right ideal aR to R (a in R), extends to R, or equivalently if every system of equations xa=…
