Does 6G Need a New Waveform: Comparing Zak-OTFS with CP-OFDM
Imran Ali Khan, Saif Khan Mohammed, Ronny Hadani +6
Across the world, there is growing interest in new waveforms, Zak-OTFS in particular, and over-the-air implementations are starting to appear. The choice between OFDM and Zak-OTFS…
Zak-OTFS over CP-OFDM
Saif Khan Mohammed, Saurabh Prakash, Muhammad Ubadah +7
Zak-Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (Zak-OTFS) modulation has been shown to achieve significantly better performance compared to the standardized Cyclic-Prefix Orthogonal Frequency…
Waveform for Next Generation Communication Systems: Comparing Zak-OTFS with OFDM
Imran Ali Khan, Saif Khan Mohammed, Ronny Hadani +6
Across the world, there is growing interest in new waveforms, Zak-OTFS in particular, and over-the-air implementations are starting to appear. The choice between OFDM and Zak-OTFS…
Orthogonal Time Frequency Space Modulation
Ronny Hadani, Shlomo Rakib, Shachar Kons +8
This paper introduces a new two-dimensional modulation technique called Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS) modulation. OTFS has the novel and important feature of being designe…
OTFS - Orthogonal Time Frequency Space
Anton Monk, Ronny Hadani, Michail Tsatsanis +1
In this paper we introduce a new 2D modulation technique called OTFS (Orthogonal Time Frequency & Space) that transforms information carried in the Delay-Doppler coordinate system…
