TEMPUS, a Timepix4-based system for event-based X-rays detection
Jonathan Correa, Alexandr Ignatenko, David Pennicard +16
A readout system based on the Timepix4 ASIC, is being developed for photon science. The TEMPUS detector can be operated in two distinct modes: a photon counting mode, which allows…
First demonstration of 3D optical readout of a TPC using a single photon sensitive Timepix3 based camera
A. Roberts, P. Svihra, A. Al-Refaie +10
The ARIADNE project is developing innovative optical readout technologies for two-phase liquid Argon time projection chambers (LArTPCs). Optical readout presents an exciting altern…
Study of X-ray radiation damage in the AGIPD sensor for the European XFEL
Jiaguo Zhang, Eckhart Fretwurst, Heinz Graafsma +3
The European X-ray Free Electron Laser (XFEL), currently being constructed in Hamburg and planning to be operational in 2017 for users, will deliver 27,000 fully coherent, high bri…
Performance tests of an AGIPD 0.4 assembly at the beamline P10 of PETRA III
J. Becker, A. Marras, A. Klyuev +3
The Adaptive Gain Integrating Pixel Detector (AGIPD) is a novel detector system, currently under development by a collaboration of DESY, the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland,…
