Performance of Gaussian Boson Sampling on Planted Bipartite Clique Detection
Yu-Zhen Janice Chen, Laurent Massoulié, Don Towsley
We investigate whether Gaussian Boson Sampling (GBS) can provide a computational advantage for solving the planted biclique problem, which is a graph problem widely believed to be…
Quantum Network Tomography for General Topology with SPAM Errors
Xuchuang Wang, Matheus Guedes De Andrade, Guus Avis +3
The goal of quantum network tomography (QNT) is the characterization of internal quantum channels in a quantum network from external peripheral operations. Prior research has prima…
Optimal Online Probe Allocation for Classical and Quantum Network Tomography
Xuchuang Wang, Yu-Zhen Janice Chen, Matheus Guedes de Andrade +4
How to efficiently perform network tomography is a fundamental problem in network management and monitoring. A network tomography task usually consists of applying multiple probing…
A Quantum Speedup in Localizing Transmission Loss Change in Optical Networks
Yufei Zheng, Yu-Zhen Janice Chen, Prithwish Basu +1
The ability to localize transmission loss change to a subset of links in optical networks is crucial for maintaining network reliability, performance and security. \emph{Quantum pr…
