Stochastic synaptic dynamics under learning
Jakob Stubenrauch, Naomi Auer, Richard Kempter +1
Learning is based on synaptic plasticity, which affects and is driven by neural activity. Because pre- and postsynaptic spiking activity is shaped by randomness, the synaptic weigh…
Furutsu-Novikov--like cross-correlation--response relations for systems driven by shot noise
Jakob Stubenrauch, Benjamin Lindner
We consider a dynamic system that is driven by an intensity-modulated Poisson process with intensity . We derive an exact relation between the input-outp…
The Distribution of Unstable Fixed Points in Chaotic Neural Networks
Jakob Stubenrauch, Christian Keup, Anno C. Kurth +2
We analytically determine the number and distribution of fixed points in a canonical model of a chaotic neural network. This distribution reveals that fixed points and dynamics are…
Equation of motion approach to black-box quantization: taming the multi-mode Jaynes-Cummings model
Fabian Hassler, Jakob Stubenrauch, Alessandro Ciani
An accurate modeling of a Josephson junction that is embedded in an arbitrary environment is of crucial importance for qubit design. We present a formalism to obtain a Lindblad mas…
